hi there.
My name is Lori (brooke) Chandler.
i grew up in fort worth, texas. Then i left.
i went to pratt institute for creative writing & have mostly stayed in brooklyn since, although in complete transparency, i am guilty of moving to los angeles every few years, mostly for vitamin d3.
i’m (still) in brooklyn to this day. i live with my partner & our elderly siamese cat.
in the profesh sense, i’ve written for the new york times, college humor, & big think. sweet publications.
additionally, i wrote/directed a short film called the society for paranormal healing, a joyous romp which won some cool awards including best picture at the austin comedy film festival. i’ve also made an experimental short, brain medicine, and am currently in post on a docu-short about musician annie hart titled Disquieting optimism. These were produced by the production company i run with the previously mentioned partner. it is called dinosaurs v robots films.
i make content art in order to bring more beauty & life-affirming giggles to the world.
